IMATS NYC

8 Apr

I am not attending IMATS in NYC (or anywhere, for that matter) this year.  However,  I was still intrigued on what brands I was, or was not, missing out on.  Along with that, I ended up finding some new great brands.  This inspired me to make a post on 10 brands, some I’ve heard of, some I haven’t that I would be most excited about if I were going to IMATS NYC.   There’s a few that I think I might order from anyway, because I am so intrigued with their stuff.  If you are also not attending IMATS, then keep reading to learn about some new beauty brands!

This is one of the brands I have not heard of them previously, and to be honest only one of their products drew me in.  They’re known for their advanced mineral cosmetics, including foundations, lip products, and eye makeup.  They also sell skincare, body care, nail and hair, as well as brushes, palettes, and makeup cases.  Their prices are fairly expensive (around $60 for their skincare, foundations around $30).  The product that I am interested in, and plan on ordering, are their Bio Cellulose Masks.  They’re $8 each, and all have a specific target goal such as whitening and moisturizing, anti-wrinkle, collagen, cell rejunvenation, and more!

There are many makeup brush companies coming to IMATs, but this one had some really great prices!  I also saw some brushes that I even thought were unique, and I would be interested in!  I would assume the quality would be like brushes from Coastal Scents, very hit or miss.  This is also a company I plan to place an order from sometime in the near future!

To be honest, I don’t know much, if anything at all, about Eve Pearl.  I have heard they have amazing concealer, which is primarily why they’re on this list.  If I were at IMATs I can guarantee you I would be trying out their concealer, and probably buying it.  I would also take the time to look at some of the other products they have to offer.  If you’ve ever tried anything from Eve Pearl or have any thoughts on them I would love the hear!

Beauty So Clean creates products specifically meant to sanitize your makeup, including wipes, cleansers, and mists without using pure alcohol, which is said to dry out and distort your makeup.  I’ve included this because I think it could be a fun splurge for some, especially if you do a lot of swaps or buy from blog sales!

I am not even going to explain myself here.  Any true makeup lover knows exactly why this is on here.

I have never heard of this company before this.  They have mineral makeup that is paraben free and cruelty free.  They say their cosmetics are safe and good for your skin, especially those with Rosacea and Acne.  While looking at their products I became interested in many of the matte finishing powders they offer as I have extremely oily skin and their eyeshadow palettes looked nice as well.  The only downside is I am not sure if you can order online, I think you have to find a retailer in your area who sells Jane Iredale.  Thus, I am not sure how their pricing is.

Similarly to Eve Pearl, I not literally nothing about this brand.  I have heard other people talking about them, andsaying their products are good.  If I were at IMATS I would be trying out a bunch of their stuff to see what I liked!

Mehron specializes in studio and stage makeup.  However, they do have few items that I could actually use in my collection, especially for nights out.  One of the products is the Touch-Up Matte Finish Anti-Shine Gel Treatment which is said to instantly remove oil from your face.  They also have a lipstick sealer to prevent feathering, fading, and transferring.  Yes, please!

This is perfect for all makeup artists.  They sell brushes, cases, makeup artists palettes, and more.  I would pick up some of the tools and accessories they have such as empty jars, misters, and more that would be perfect for traveling!  This is another company I plan to order from!

This one is another no-brainer.  I have wanted their lip tars for so long, and still have yet to buy some.  I already have an idea of the colors I’d want, and what I can mix them with!

Have you tried any products from any of these brands?  If so, which ones, and what were your thoughts?  Are you going to IMATS?  What are you planning to buy?  Let me know!
